Who’s The Boss Women’s Business Conference

SATURDAY, JUNE 10TH– 8AM – 6PM

LOCATION - Harlem State Office Building, West 125th Street at Adam Clayton Powell Blvd . There's no on street parking but some lots are available. Please check Google for parking lots near the address. For subway you can take 2 & 3 trains to 125th street then walk one block west to Adam Clayton Powell Blvd or A,B,C,D trains to 125th street and walk two block east to Adam Clayton Powell Blvd.

ATTIRE All black comfortable and professional.  Shirts, slacks, dresses, shirts/blouses & skirts with comfortable shoes are all acceptable.  Please arrive ready to work as there will be no time to change. Check the weather for appropriate coats/umbrellas, etc as necessary.

ARRIVAL Please arrive on time.  Our work day will begin at 7:00am and will end around after we finish cleaning up, which should be close to 6:30pm. Please confirm if you’ll do all day or half day as we’re happy to have you when you can be there. Work starts immediately on arrival as our time for set up is short. I will be at the venue to meet you and get you busy ;-).

Duties & Event Activities          

HONOREES BREAKFAST – Set up 7am – 8am, doors open at 8am, event begins at 8:30am and ends at 10:30am. This will be in the 2nd Floor Gallery. We’ll need check-in table monitors, greeter, breakfast set up assistance, room monitor to assist with any needs during the breakfast & clean up.  Once this is done, you’ll switch to conference duties.

CONFERENCE – Set up starts when we arrive at 7am. We’ll be setting up registration table, arranging seats and other set-up needs. Doors open for the conference at 11am so we will begin registration check-in (check names off list, providing conference materials), welcoming attendees/presenters/sponsors & special guests, answering questions. General conference duties will include but are not limited to assisting with luncheon set up, serving lunch, keeping areas in order, time keeping and room monitoring for 8th Floor presentation areas. Around 4:30pm we will begin setting up for the networking reception and doing some spot clean up early.

NETWORKING RECEPTION – Starts at 5pm. We’ll keep same set up with minimal work.  As we move towards its end (@5:45) we’ll move into clean & pack up and continue until we finish for the day. Hopefully we can finish by 6:30pm.

CLEAN UP & LOAD OUT  The sooner we start, the sooner we can finish!  All of us will participate in packing up, loading out all of our stuff and team. We must leave the room as we found it in the morning.

AFTER PARTY – Once we finish, feel free to attend the After Party!  This venue TBA.­­
